| the aim of this website is to collate a body of art works via a group project to more accurately define what 'lesbian art' is. our hope is that lesbians from all walks of life will contribute to our online exhibition giving a global view of contemporary lesbian life-styles and experiences. we feel that lesbians are under-represented and more often than not, misrepresented in the public economy of images and the media. we would also like lesbian art to have a legitimate and commended place in the history of art .
